Your quite correct to point people to the addon section but when its obvious that they will use that information unlawfully then its perhaps a little naive of you to do so because you are indirectly assisting in a crime. Your obviously intelligent enough to know more than the average user but it's also obviously you have some strong yet controversial opinions of what is lawful and allowed.
DOES PMDG 737 FSX WORK IN P3D SOFTWARE
Perhaps it is right if the specific software in question PMDG by way of this request was not intended only for FSX because of the entrainment only clause in its EULA. In doing so this does not take away any of your local country rights. Therefore I ask you to be respectful to LM and its website, you do have some valuable input I have seen but bear in mind whilst you are using the forums there are rules to be followed. That includes allowing its users to answer the questions because it is hosted on their website LM cannot host these request or be seen to support them as I am sure you understand now.

DOES PMDG 737 FSX WORK IN P3D INSTALL
(If a user feels they have a legal right to install something within P3D but the developing company does not agree with that, then I'm sure there are many other places online where they can find the necessary INFO)Īlso whilst you have some legal freedoms within your country that does not extend globally and within US hosted sites. I'm not trying to tell you what you can and can't do on your own computer but there is well defined forum rules for behaviour that does include educating people to do that sort of thing. Thus putting them in professional training simulator is a direct violation. This can bring on large legal law suites from other competing aircraft manufactures Boeing and BAE Systems in particular as PMDG have agreements with them that their software is for entertainment purposes. Installing into P3D puts both PMDG and LM both in compromising legal positions. PMDG have a number of warnings and yes boxes to agree to regarding that the customers agree only to install into FSX. As such they cannot host any threads that will put them in a legal argument. The point you're missing is this is the official LM site based in the US.

I accept that you know the legal position and rights for your own country.
